Many of the photos I take are a part of some collection.
Collecting creates focus, narrowing down the amount of possibilities.
My largest collection is of Dogsigns. The last twenty years I’ve been taking photos, and sometimes even receiving from others, of signs that has to do with dogs. Read more about it and check some of the photos in here >>
A relative new interest of mine is taking photos of the laundry hanging to dry in our bathroom.
It is concentrated into one place, discovering it over and over again every time a new chunk of laundry takes over.
I created a book that was merged into a poem “Washing / Watching” with some of those photos.
Check it in here >>.
Another collection is what I call “Stolen Art“.
A series of photos of decade, rust or anything I find interesting that creates the illusion of a painting.
I created a book with the same title in 2017 but the collection has grown a lot bigger since then.
The main condition I have for taking a photo to this collection is that it is made by coincidence
There is no intention of anyone to create it. It my be the force of nature or just fortune circumstances.
My action is to discover the artwork hidden in our near environment.
Check out my Stolen Art in here >>
A sub-devision of Stolen Art is a series I call Stolen Wildlife.
I combine in different ways other elements, often animals, in the environment I created with my Stolen Art.
I have a good laugh while doing it and I love to share the process from the original photos to the finishes collage.
Photography is otherwise a passion that come and goes.
A camera is a companion when traveling. Sometimes it is even the reason for traveling.
Heres an album of various photos I’m happy with.
