Since last year Aston’s Stones has been doing greatly as a theater play at Teater Pero. Apart from being played in Pero’s theater in Stockholm it has been touring Sweden and even had a visit to Copenhagen. Until now they’ve been playing Aston more than 220 times on stage! The play is based on the book by Lotta Geffenblad, but the theater group made it’s on interpretation with great music and and pantomime acts. They do speak though …

Spot and Splodge at the Dentist are in Chicago int. Children’s film Festival right now.
The festival is in it’s 28th year. It’s the largest festival of films for children in North America and one of the only Academy Award qualifying children’s film festivals in the world.
Spot and Splodge at the dentist is in competition at the moment (24-30 Oct. 2011) in Tindirindis.
We are very excited to announce that Aston’s Stones, written and illustrated by Lotta Geffenblad, will be published in it’s ninth language in the fall. This time in Georgia.
During the month of July Uzi will write, compose and record music for five new Spot and Splodge short films. The films will be released in theaters later this year in a six film box set called “Spot and Splodge on the Spot”. The music for the sixth film “Spot and Splodge at the Dentist” was recorded earlier in March this year.
Uzi Geffenblad has recently become a jury member in Plein la Bobine, a children’s film festival in La Bourboule, France. The Sancy film festival for young people, shows children’s films i all suitable ages for the entire family.
The festival will focus on Swedish cinema, Workshops, exhibitions, meet & greet events, activities, silent films accompanied by a live band and more… It will also screen films from Zigzag Animation, the newly released “Spot and Splodge at the Dentist”,”Apricots”, “Aston’s Stones”, “Wing gets lost” and “Among the thorns”.
